AEBN, BadAssFeeds Offer Foreign Language Movies

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — AEBN is taking its operations global with a new language service from BadAssFeeds, which is now offering content in four languages other than English.

“With the changing global market, we would like to better cater to international clients by offering language-specific feeds,” Marc C., AEBN global market specialist, said. “This will do exactly that.”

BadAssFeeds, which is owned by AEBN, will now allow viewers of the video-on-demand service to select content in French, German, Spanish and Japanese. The range of languages available will allow adult webmasters to further exploit the growing international market for content.

While BadAssFeeds offers movies in four languages, its international coverage is somewhat wider. The company’s viewing console features all the same languages in the movie section plus Dutch, Norwegian and Hebrew.

According to Shelby Setzer, content manager for BadAssFeeds, the decision to offer films in foreign languages was based on the amount of foreign content already in AEBN’s library.

“We have a huge stock of movies in lots of different languages,” Setzer told XBIZ. “We chose those four languages because that’s what we had the most of and we thought it would be a great way to service our international webmasters.”

BadAssFeeds plans to add additional languages as more content becomes available, according to Setzer.

“Once we have enough content in a particular language we plan to add it to the site,” Setzer said. “Portuguese will probably be next.”
