“I’m really grateful for the opportunity from John to bring all the ideas I have into scenes as a performer, and now as a director,” Duro said. “John is one of the most erotic and creative directors I’ve known, and I’m really going to work hard and have fun making movies that I enjoy, and hopefully John and the viewers will too.”
The movie, called “Ass Jazz,” features Brazilian performer Julie Paiva on the cover and emulates Stagliano’s intimate shooting style. Isabel Ice, Emanuelle Diniz and Patricia Kimberly also appear in the movie.
Stagliano was effusive in his praise of Duro. “Jazz Duro knows ass. It’s rare when I find someone more obsessed with ass than I am. Jazz does a lot of things right,” he said. “And most important: The girls are enjoying themselves, showing off like they mean it.”
U.S. News and World Report wrote a lengthy article on Stagliano, stating, “Stagliano is the nation's leading director of hardcore videos, a porn auteur whose distinctive cinema verite style of filmmaking has been widely imitated.”
Evil Angel directors all own their own product with the studio acting as distributor. The series will not follow a standard release schedule; rather, Stagliano will select them as he chooses his favorites.
