HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Sportsheets International has brought back its annual "April Showers" Sex In the Shower display contest, challenging retailers around the world to showcase the line in the most effective and creative ways.

"Sex in the Shower products are a powerful draw for the lifestyle accessories department of any brick-and-mortar or online store. Besides the bed, the shower is the most popular place in the house where couples go to have sex!"
To enter and for more information about the April Showers contest and rules, retailers can email Info@sportsheets.com or call (714) 698-0877 to get a Sportsheets FTP password for information and to download essential point of sale (POS) materials, including posters, signage, banners, marketing training tools and a planogram. Sportsheets FTP server offers even more helpful tools, including high-resolution photos and logos to help create custom signs.
"Fairvilla Megastore's Sex in the Shower contest entries became shopping destinations," said Debra Peterson of the Florida-based retail chain, Fairvilla, winner of the 2011 Sex in the Shower contest. "These creative displays not only increased the sales of Sex in the Shower products, but also created better traffic flow, interactivity and excitement within our stores."

All entries will be judged and prizes awarded by the Retail Display Contest Review Committee comprised of select marketing executives and industry leaders. Brick-and-mortar entries will be judged according to use of signage, number of Sex in the Shower products used, creativity and how it is showcased in the store.
In the brick-and-mortar category, first place winners receive $2,000, second place $1,000, and third place $500.
For Internet distributors, first place in best landing page receives $1,000 in cash and product ($500 cash and $500 product) and best Sex in the Shower video winner takes home $500 in cash.
