Dreamgirl to Debut New Pink Diamond Collection

LOS ANGELES — Dreamgirl is adding a new color, Pink Diamond, to its packaged lingerie Diamond Collection for 2012/2013.

Each Pink Diamond box has a hot pink diamond at the top, enlarged front and back images and enhanced plastic windows on both sides of the box for easy viewing. The Pink Diamond Collection consists of One Size Fits Most and One Size Fits Most Queen. They also include a matching thong or G-string and are available for $7.95-12.95 wholesale for regular and plus-size.

All Pink Diamond styles are ready to ship starting on March 15.

“We are launching our new Pink Diamond packaging this year in conjunction with the debut of an exciting contemporary lingerie catalogue entitled Encore,” Dreamgirl CEO Christopher Scharff said. “We have introduced new elements to enhance an already great program. We think the new packaging will increase sales by creating a strong statement for our retailer’s wall systems. In addition, our design team has worked hard to create a new lingerie collection with a bold and modern feel for our consumer.”

The shape of the Pink Diamond box is the same as the Classic Red Diamond package.

“When merchandised on a wall the intense hot pink Diamond bolstered by the optic white frame will be a beacon of light, bright, sexy color to attract the customer’s eye from across the room,” the company said in a press release. “Pink Diamond was created with a flair for fashion-forward trends to encourage younger, hipper customers to embrace packaged lingerie.”

For 2011, Dreamgirl expanded into a 93,000-square-foot warehouse facility with increased automated fulfillment and shipping capabilities. Dreamgirl’s online business-to-business platform, customers can log on any time, any day of the year to check real-time inventory, track POs and place orders.

“Our organization continues to execute its business plan across all product categories and in all markets,” Scharff said.” I am extremely proud of our management, employees, sales representatives, distributors and vendor partners for their dedication and hard work in pursuit of our goals and vision. We are looking forward to an exciting 2012.”
