XBIZ Signs On as AEVC Exclusive Media Partner

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ has signed on as the Exclusive Media Partner of the Adult Entertainment Virtual Convention (AEVC), the first 3D virtual convention of its kind presented by Red Light Center and UtherConvention taking place on Feb. 25-26.

As the Exclusive Media Partner, XBIZ will be represented during the convention with an expansive booth on the virtual trade show floor and as the presenting sponsor of the Adult Entertainment Virtual Awards, which is set for Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. XBIZ also has signed on to host the official after party for the Adult Entertainment Virtual Awards at 6 p.m., following the awards show.

“Red Light Center is thrilled to be partnering with XBIZ in bringing a brand new and revolutionary trade-show and awards-show concept to the adult industry,” Utherverse's CEO and founder Brian Shuster said. “For the first time, tens of thousands of porn enthusiasts, adult entertainers and merchants can all get together without the expenses, time and hassle normally associated with adult trade shows. Best of all, we're planning that this brand new awards show will feature the most edgy, clever and exciting entertainment ever brought to an adult industry event!”

AEVC’s awards categories are partly based on Utherverse’s 3D virtual worlds and social network with categories such as Best Adult Themed Virtual World, Best Virtual Erotic Dance Club and Best Verified Working Girl of the Year, among others. External categories include Porn Studio of the Year, Female Porn Star of the Year, Male Porn Star of the Year and Best Sex Toy/Pleasure Product or Company of the Year, among others.

AEVC will enable people to connect with existing members within the Red Light Center network and other adult entertainment fans online, in 3D and in one virtual world. The expo is estimated to bring in 10,000 unique visitors to the convention throughout the two day event. There will be a virtual convention center featuring four rooms and one main hall with industry professionals, exhibitor showcases and guest speakers.

“Following XBIZ’s participation in last year’s successful UtherConvention, XBIZ is pleased to once again partner with Brian Shuster and the Utherverse team for the Adult Entertainment Virtual Convention, a one-of-a-kind event to bring together adult entertainment fans and professionals through ground-breaking virtual 3D technology,” XBIZ President Alec Helmy said.

XBIZ Events Director Moe Helmy added, “The AEVC is gearing up to be a must-attend event that will offer traditional adult convention staples uniquely delivered as a 3D virtual experience for free to thousands of users worldwide. XBIZ is looking forward to supporting this technologically progressive endeavor as Exclusive Media Partner."
