Planet Earth Expands Design Department

WAKEFIELD, U.K. — Planet Earth has expanded its design department with the addtion of Phil Watson as the company’s new design assistant.

Previously a freelance artist and graphic designer, the company said Watson brings experience of mulitmedia and designing work for various projects.

“We see Phil’s appointment as a fantastic coup for the company and our need for his skills shows how much the company has continued to grow, regardless of the tough economic climate,” said Louise Boote, managing director of Planet Earth.

“2011 has seen a 40 percent increase in our product catalog and with this comes an increase in the demand placed on our design department.”

In the last 12 months, the company has launched new brands including Clean Stream, Wand Essentials, Madonna Intimate Desire and Erolution masturbator sleeves, which has also seen warehouse staffing levels increase.

“Planet Earth is committed to making things as simple as possible for our customers," Boote said.

"We supply text, images and POS materials to all our customers to maximise sales potential. This continual increase in products means that we need to raise staffing levels to continue to meet our customer’s expectations and maintain our high standards of service.”
