365 Billing Now a European Processor

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — Internet payment company 365 Billing, which launched in February, has announced that it is officially certified as an EU Internet Payment Service Provider.

Naturally, EU certification means enhanced services for webmasters using 365 Billing, but the move also means a more completive global billing market.

“There are now more than just two IPSP choices with both U.S. and EU options for online businesses,” John Duffy, CEO of 365 Billing, said. “It is clearly important to the industry to have a strong alternative available.”

Epoch/Paycom and CCBill both offer EU and U.S. billing options, making 365 Billing the third entrant into the market with those credentials.

According to Mark Smith, president of 365 Billing, three companies in the global market means a broad range of services available to clients.

“We will give merchants better tools, better approval rates and better retention rates,” Smith said.

Duffy added that this is very exciting news for both 365 Billing and its customers, saying that the company’s strength comes from matching billing professionals with solid banking relationships.

The company’s core focus is on billing support for online subscriptions and credit card, ACH, phone billing and SMS payment options. 365 Billing boasts its own anti-fraud monitoring system designed to limit fraud, while maximizing approvals.
