XBIZ Awards Show Gets Supersized, Set to Rock Monster L.A. Venue 'The Barker Hangar'

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce that adult entertainment's biggest awards event of the year, the 10th annual XBIZ Awards, will be held at the historic Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport on the night of Jan. 10, 2012.

The 35,000 square foot Barker Hangar is one of the most high-profile special event venues in Southern California with a world renowned reputation for hosting major productions such as the MTV Movie Awards and The Billboard Music Awards. Superstar performers such as Michael Jackson, Eminem, Alicia Keys and Stevie Wonder have all performed at Barker Hangar, which features a dramatic arched ceiling that measures 43 feet high at the center.

With a multi-six figure production and one of the largest special event venues in Los Angeles, the 10th anniversary XBIZ Awards is set to be the biggest awards production the industry has ever seen.

“It’s only fitting that our 10th anniversary show deliver shock and awe,” said XBIZ founder and president Alec Helmy.

XBIZ Awards producer Moe Helmy said the massive venue was selected to accommodate ballooning demand for table seating from all sectors of the industry as well as large-scale event production elements and special effects.

“We’re planning an unforgettable celebration of our industry on January 10, and we believe there is no better place to honor the best of the best adult entertainment has to offer than the breathtaking Barker Hangar,” Helmy said.

Dan Miller, managing editor of XBIZ, said, “The XBIZ Awards represents the pinnacle of our business and adult's biggest stage warrants a venue of this magnitude for hosting spectacular events.”

The XBIZ Awards, exclusively presented by MyFreeCams.com, will be hosted by Jessica Drake and Kayden Kross with Trophy Girls BiBi Jones and Tasha Reign. The Official Red Carpet hosts are Lisa Ann and Nikki Benz.

The 2012 show floor will be comprised entirely of VIP and general table seating and the event itself a dress-to-impress affair; formal attire will be strictly enforced. Show organizers recommend that attendees head for the show at least one hour in advance of the 6:30 p.m. red carpet start time in order to avoid traffic and long lines.

Fleshlight will be the official sponsor of the XBIZ Awards After-Party at a location to be announced.
