PwnedbyGirls to Hold 'Make a Gaming Wish' Event Today

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — PwnedByGirls will hold a special 11/11/11 Make a Gaming Wish event today with Persia Pele and Annie Cruz joining the site's founder Alana Evans in the spirit of charity.

The free stream will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. PST on PwnedByGirls.com.

PwnedByGirls has spent the last few weeks accepting toys and video games from fans and friends to donate to a national charity that provides under privileged children with Christmas gifts.

During today's special event the ladies will be playing Skyrim, the newest edition of Elder Scrolls, which is also being released on 11/11/11.

Along with Skyrim, the gamer girls will also be playing the brand new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Dance Central 2, and the girls will be testing the Zoom enhancer for the Xbox Kinect.

Not only do the ladies stream their events for free, if you are friends on the Xbox Live accounts, you can play along with them. Evans can be found as superpinkninja and the gamer girls use the gamer tag pwnedbygirls.

Annie Cruz is a favorite at PwnedByGirls because she is a hardcore gamer. Evans said that different aspects of Cruz's personal website are dedicated to her love of gaming "so she has been an amazing addition to the PwnedByGirls crew."

"She was very well received at the Halloween Pwnage event on October 25, 2011 for PwnedByGirls," Evans said. "Dressed as a naughty nurse, Annie can be seen in a free photo gallery as well as a newly added video of the girls playing Dance Central. This will be her second appearance on the show."

Evans said that Persia Pele also has a love for video games.

During the event, the gamer girls will play alongside Evans in a fun video game session that is streamed live via the PwnedByGirls website. The event is completely free, however the website provides information for viewers, fans and friends to purchase toys or video games to be donated in time for the holidays. PwnedByGirls, powered by Pink Visual, is dedicated to both gaming and giving back to the community.

To donate a toy to the charity drive, the wish list will remain open through Dec. 11, 2011. All items will ship directly to the PwnedByGirls studio for sorting and donation.
