LOS ANGELES — Only three porn BitTorrent lawsuits were filed in the past seven days at federal courts nationwide.
Since last Monday, the three porn BitTorrent suits, all filed at U.S. District Court in San Diego, target 114 John Doe defendants.
Elegant Angel had two suits targeting 51 and 43 Does. One of the movies allegedly poached was "Gangbanged."
K-Beech Inc. sued 20 for allegedly trading "Virgins 4."
The suits, all seeking $150,000 per Doe in damages, ask for the court's permission to order Internet service providers identify the alleged copyright infringers.
