XBiz Offers $10,000 Free Advertising in Summer ’06 Forum Contest

LOS ANGELES — XBiz readers who have a way with words could win $10,000 worth of advertising for their company.

XBiz, the adult industry source for technology and business news, is sponsoring “The $10,000 Business Quote” Contest in conjunction with its upcoming XBiz Summer ’06 Forum, to be held July 12-14 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

The first 10 people to correctly complete the quote, “Nothing is more expensive than …,” will be named as finalists in the contest. XBiz will reveal the correct answer to the quote once there are 10 matching entries, and the winner will be announced at show in July.

Adult industry professionals can enter by posting their answers on the XBiz Boards and must also email their answer to BizQuote06@xbiz.com.

Entrants must be present at the XBiz Summer ’06 Forum to win.

“XBiz is all about business,” XBiz Sales and Marketing Manager Kristen Kaye said. “We know making money and staying competitive is what’s most important to the folks who read our site and magazines and plan on attending our summer show. So even when we’re having fun with contests like this, we think the prize should be something that can have a direct impact on the winner’s business.

“I may be biased,” she added, “but I think $10,000 of free advertising in XBiz can yield big results.”

The XBiz Summer ’06 Forum will be the first annual summit of industry professionals for the B2B resource and media company. It is designed to bring together attendees from around the world and offer them opportunities to expand their contacts, ink deals and discuss new avenues for profit with their peers, as well as attend a host of educational seminars and events.

XBiz has locked in an initial room-rate agreement with the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for $159 per night for a standard room — plasma screen TV included — during the event. Deluxe and celebrity suites also are available. Registrants must mention group code “XBIZ” when making reservations.
