BuyBlogTraffic.com Launches

ORANGEVILLE, Ontario — Looking to capitalize on the tremendous amount of traffic that flows to many adult and gambling-themed blogs, BuyBlogTraffic.com launched this week, selling advertising on some of the blog world’s top properties.

The service already sells advertising space for a number of popular blogs, including Fleshbot.com, Funberry.com, Thatvideosite.com, Bunnypoker.com, WTFpeople.com, Crazyshit.com and Kaktuz.com.

Developed by top executives from Gallery Traffic Service, Submit Passes, P2P Ads and Nichespots, BuyBlogTraffic.com includes extensive resources for both mainstream and adult blog interests, and also maintains strict guidelines against illegal or stolen content and link redirects.

“There is no doubt that the popularity of niche-based blogs has spawned a new era in traffic generation,” founder Mark Hurson said.

It’s clear the new service is hoping to capitalize on eyeballs, as several of the blogging sites in its portfolio receive far more hits each month than many major online newspapers. Fleshbot, for example, pulls in an estimated two million hits a month.

Hurson said advertisers could purchase several different ad programs through the site, including daily “plugs” in blog updates — a daily online entry on a blog site to publicize a product or site favorably — as well as banners and text link advertising.

“We saw an opportunity to offer advertisers a new way to get their brands exposed to a hugely popular traffic market,” Hurson said.
