Sapphire Media Searching for New European Porn Star

AMSTERDAM — Adult entertainment distributor Sapphire Media International has launched a search for Europe’s next major porn star.

"Search For A Star" — a new eight-part series — airs on June 4 on hardcore channel Daring! TV across Europe and on softcore channel 100% Babes in the U.K.

The company said the show will be hosted by adult star Zuzanna and features six girls who are all trying to make it in the adult movie business.

During the shows each girl is interviewed by Zuzanna and another established adult star and will have to strip and perform “sex demos” that conclude with a full scene.

The winner will be voted for by viewers and announced in the final episode to be aired sometime in August.

Voting takes place online and mobile on a specially created website now available. The girl who receives the most votes will star in her own adult movie.

Stephanie Murdoch-Meyer, head of sales and marketing for Sapphire said, “This is just the kind of programming that is loved by the viewer because it provides an opportunity to get involved and influence the outcome. It is also highly promotable and forms part of Sapphire’s overall strategy of providing the best possible service to customers.”

The series is being produced by John Chalk TV and being filmed in HD in the Czech Republic.
