TitanMen Uses Airplay to Stream VOD to TVs

SAN FRANCISCO — TitanMen has announced the implementation of Apple Airplay to stream video-on-demand directly to consumer’s televisions via Apple TV.

TitanMen digital copy and downloadable files can be streamed via Airplay to a user’s Apple TV directly from their iTunes account.

“We are very excited that our fans can now watch our digital content on their televisions,” said Bruce Cam, president of Titan Media.

“For years we have been waiting for the technology that would stream content from the Internet directly to a user’s home television set, and now it's here. The Apple Airplay technology is a fast, easy and simple way to watch high quality TitanMen digital content on your TV.”

Airplay is the latest technology from Apple that allows users to stream music, video and photos from their iOS devices and iTunes accounts to their Apple TV.

“Airplay is the just the beginning of the leap from the web to home televisions,” said Keith Webb, vice president of TitanMen.

“We have strategically positioned ourselves to take advantage of cutting edge technology to deliver TitanMen content to our fans wherever and whenever they want it.  TitanMen content can now be watched and enjoyed on almost every available screen, both large and small.  Our digital content is viewable on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, iTunes, Apple TV, Android tablets, Android smartphones, PC, MAC, Roku box and now on televisions.”

The use of Airplay requires an iOS-compatible device and the second generation Apple TV.
