Epoch Reports Higher Traffic After Adding Ukash

LOS ANGELES — Epoch has announced that its addition of Ukash as a new payment option has resulted in a jump in traffic.

“It has been great,” said Harmik Gharapetian, vice president of sales and marketing for Epoch.

“The people who signed their agreement are already getting good traffic and conversions. The thing is, it is great for the un-banked and people who don’t want to use credit cards can use this cash payment format.”

Ukash is an online form of payment available in Europe, South Africa, South America, Canada and Australia. It is a cash product similar to a pre-paid card, but has no relationship to the card associations. Payment is instant and there are no chargebacks.

In addition to being available online, Ukash can be accessed from kiosks and ATMs.
