Video: Dumas Talks .XXX With YOUnitedTV

LOS ANGELES — Adult industry veteran and .XXX proponent Greg Dumas was interviewed recently on business web video site YOUnitedTV.com, answering questions about the newly approved sTLD.

In the four-minute interview, Dumas talked about how adult webmasters will be able to benefit from the .XXX TLD.

The interviewer asked him various questions including why .XXX costs more than a .com.

“These are audience targeted domains and there’s more value-added features in a .XXX than there is a .com, such benefits as malware, virus scanning,” Dumas said.

“People go to a video and they look at something and they don’t realize it but they may be getting a virus downloaded in the background and they don’t even know it.

“In situations like that, you don’t have any control over it and with .XXX we can make sure things like that aren’t happening.”

Dumas also said that ICM Registry through .XXX will ensure that responsible payment systems are implemented as well as controls to prevent piracy.
