The deadline for submissions from talent, producers and companies is April 15. Categories and guidelines are available at Urban X Awards under nominations.
The show organizers said there will be no extensions for submissions.
Fan voting has also begun on the show website and will be open until July 1. According to the producers, last year's fan traffic generated more than 15,000 daily hits.
This is the event's fourth annual show and will be held on July 23 at the 740 Club, 753 Spring St. in Los Angeles. The Awards ceremonies will be hosted by Nyomi Banxxx and Alexander Devoe.
Red carpet festivities will be hosted by adult stars Lisa Ann and Lexington Steele.
