Private Media Group Scores Legal Win Over Consipio

LAS VEGAS — Private Media Group has won a legal victory after a Las Vegas judge granted a motion to dismiss its Consipio Holding case against Private officers and directors.

The motion to dismiss included board members Johan Gillberg, Johan Carlsberg, Peter Dixinger and Philip Christmas.

The court also denied Consipio’s opposition to Private’s motion to dismiss and countermotion for reconsideration of a previous order granting another director’s order to dismiss.

Consipio Holding is a group of investors who claim to hold 5.6 million shares of Private Media Group stock. It filed a complaint against Private in an effort to recover on a promissory note.

“This is the first in a series of strong company momentum news we look forward to sharing with you in the coming months as we roll out our 2011 business strategy and vision,” Private CEO Berth Milton told XBIZ.
