Capri Anderson Signs as Newest Vivid Girl

LOS ANGELES — Capri Anderson, who gained national notoriety when she was part of Charlie Sheen's incident at The Plaza Hotel in New York City last year, has signed on as the newest exclusive contract girl with Vivid Entertainment.

"Capri is exceptional in so many ways and we think she can fully develop her potential as a Vivid Girl," said Steven Hirsch, founder/co-chairman of Vivid. "Actually, we had cut back on our contract actresses program recently, but Capri is so exciting that we decided to reopen it just for her."

Anderson became notorious outside of adult circles literally overnight in November after spending one wild evening with Sheen. Talk shows, gossip sites and entertainment outlets across the country all discussed the performer. What was said to have started out as a dinner appearance with Sheen went south later when she reportedly had to lock herself in Sheen's hotel room for protection.

The 22-year-old, 5-foot-6 starlet was born in Van Nuys, though she has spent most of her life in New York and Florida. A former National Honor Society student in high school, she attended some college in Miami and made a sex tape with her boyfriend and sold it to a website to make money.

"We thought that a few people in our neighborhood might wind up seeing that tape, but it turned out it was most of Dade County. I totally blew my cover," Anderson said. "But it was my introduction to adult entertainment and I can honestly say that it changed my perception of myself. It's helped me become a woman and given me newfound confidence. Becoming a Vivid Girl is a very exciting giant step for me. It means I'll be surrounded by top professionals who will bring out the best in me."

She continued, "I'm not sure yet how I'll get to the Vivid movie sets since I have a bit of a problem when it comes to driving. So far I've been in 17 crashes and as a result I'm now very resourceful when it comes to transportation. I walk or use buses, trains, taxis, bicycles and every once in a while, I'll get up my courage and borrow or rent a car. I feel confident in every area of my life except driving and so I'm putting off a decision to buy a car."

Anderson works out by dancing two to three times each week at studios on both coasts. She has an apartment in Brooklyn and is looking for one in L.A.
