Nominees, Sponsors for Galaxy Awards Announced

BARCELONA — The nominees and sponsors of the first edition of the Galaxy Awards has been announced.

Three panels of experts from Spain, Europe and the U.S. have chosen with their votes the best of the Internet in 2010 for their respective geographical areas.

The results of the first round of voting can be seen here.

This announcement also marks the beginning of the second round of the process, in which the votes from the public determine the three finalists that will compete for the award in each category.

The first edition of the Galaxy Awards is sponsored by the network of Spain-based websites Cumlouder, but sponsorship opportunities remain open until the end of February.
