Wicked's 'Speed' Finishes First at XBIZ Awards

LOS ANGELES — Director Brad Armstrong's sexy motorcycle adventure "Speed" crossed the finish line first at the XBIZ Awards Wednesday night, earning the Feature Movie of the Year honor at the ninth annual gala at the Hollywood Palladium.

Armstrong's three-disc production also took the Best Cinematography award for the work of Francois Clousot, Jake Jacobs, and Mark Nicholson.

Meanwhile, Wicked Pictures was recognized with the award for Feature Studio of the Year based on its body of feature releases for the past year. Similarly, Video Marc Dorcel, whose product is distributed in the U.S. by Wicked, was honored with an award for European Studio of the Year.

Wicked Pictures congratulates the cast and crew of "Speed" and thanks its staff, distributors, retailers, critics and fans for their continued support.
