XBIZ LA Show Wraps as Success

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — XBIZ LA, the event that continues to set a new standard in adult digital media conferences, has come to a close with global online adult professionals walking away armed with new connections and valuable knowledge to keep business on track.

XBIZ LA 2011 featured an unparalleled slate of online-centric events, multiple panels and seminars that explored the hot-button topics facing operators today and included information vital to the success of tomorrow’s leading online adult entertainment enterprises.

The pre-event festivities kicked off a day early with a warm-up bash at the Saddle Ranch Chop House, one of Hollywood’s most notorious hot spots where attendees got a head start on networking in the relaxed atmosphere.

Sunday's relaxed atmosphere quickly gave way to a surge of excitement as attendees began to check in at the PussyCash-sponsored registration booth, beginning day one of the conference, which was held in conjunction with Pink Visual's Content Protection Retreat.

The XBIZ Speed Networking Session proved as popular as ever, giving participants a quick and easy way to fill their smartphones with new contacts. A Traffic: Sourcing & Acquiring Profitable Customers seminar followed, providing attendees with an overall state of adult traffic and the most effective traffic acquisition strategies for the coming year.

After the DatingGold-sponsored lunch at the award-winning Simon LA restaurant, attendees made their way over to the remaining seminars of the day, which included an exclusive demonstration of SexEntertain's new direct feed content delivery system and various topics on adult law, e-billing strategies and digital entertainment distribution and delivery techniques.

The day concluded with a CommerceGate and VideoSecrets' Mix and Match welcome reception allowing for more in-depth meetings and conversations, capping off the night with the annual Cybersocket Web Awards, honoring the best in gay entertainment.

For those who didn't make the first one, day two offered another Speed Networking session, followed by an ASACP fundraiser supporting the international Safer Internet Day.

Adult industry traffic veteran Brad Gosse hosted a traffic master class showing attendees how to create an SEO-optimized auto blog, followed by AdultCentro's exclusive presentation on its new content marketplace.

The afternoon consisted of a State of the Industry seminar that forecast what the upcoming year has in store and focused on the biggest challenges and opportunities facing the industry.

An XBIZ LA highlight featured a personal industry retrospective by Pink Visual's Allison Vivas, who gave her view of the adult industry and its future.

A CE Cash-sponsored XBIZ.net social mixer concluded the day's events with a soiree at the Capital Grille, where attendees let their hair down and enjoyed the club-like elegant setting.

The final day offered attendees a unique opportunity, where they connected and met with 10 of the industry's most influential movers and shakers at a Meet the Heads of State seminar, followed by the XBIZ LA Golf Tournament hosted by X2K Consulting and Media Services.

The XBIZ Awards ceremony at the Hollywood Palladium capped off the three-day event as some of the biggest and brightest stars in adult walked the red carpet to celebrate the industry's biggest night of the year.
