Sofitel Hotel Sold Out for XBIZ LA, XBIZ Retail Expo

LOS ANGELES — With only about one week left before all sectors of the adult industry come together for a full week of XBIZ LA and XBIZ Retail Expo’s world-class seminars, product debuts and showcases and unlimited business-networking opportunities, the event’s intimately luxurious Sofitel Hotel is all sold out.

Up until Jan. 16, attendees of both events had the opportunity to take advantage of exclusive room selection and rates at the Sofitel Hotel allocated for attendees of the leading digital media event XBIZ LA and the inaugural XBIZ Retail Expo.

Nevertheless, with XBIZ LA attracting a staggering amount of industry professionals from around the globe each year and the overwhelming excitement surrounding the debut of the XBIZ Retail Expo, it is no surprise that the number of attendees has exceeded the amount of rooms.

Soaring interest for the first-of-its-kind trade event was evidenced within a month following its announcement when XBIZ Retail Expo’s main show floor sold out of exhibiting spaces.

A flood of registrations from a large cross-section of buyers ranging from leading brick-and-mortar and online retailers to wholesalers/distributors soon followed with representatives from more than 600 retail operations enlisted by Dec. 29.

XBIZ LA will be held Feb. 7-9, offering a new slate of world-class seminars, exclusive multimedia demo presentations, extended speed networking and Mix & Meet sessions and exclusive special events.

The 2011 XBIZ Retail Expo immediately follows XBIZ LA, Feb. 9-11, with three days of unparalleled seminars, keynotes and an exhibition hall showcasing the latest adult products from the industry’s leading manufacturers.

Both events coincide with the 9th annual XBIZ Awards on Feb. 9, taking place at the legendary Hollywood Palladium, where the biggest names in the biz come together to honor their own and see who takes top honors. This year’s highly anticipated event will feature an all-new format and will be hosted by comedy star Whitney Cummings and Digital Playground contract star Jesse Jane.
