AshleyMadison Ad Featuring Savanna Samson Won't Air

LOS ANGELES — AshleyMadison.com's 30-second TV ad submitted to air during the Super Bowl has been rejected by FOX.

The network said their "Standards & Practices has deemed the Ashley Madison spot is not acceptable to air” on the station.

The ad for the dating website doesn't mention any specifics about the site or even use its tagline, “Life is Short. Have an Affair," but it does feature porn star Savanna Samson, which lead AshleyMadison.com founder Noel Biderman to call foul.

"Now that so many adult film stars, including Jenna Jameson and Sasha Grey, have crossed over into the mainstream, it's disappointing that the NFL continues to discriminate against them,” said Biderman, who noted the ad is "seemingly G-rated."

It's not the first time, a network has pulled an AshleyMadison.com ad for national consumption. NBC two years ago rejected AshleyMadison.com's Super Bowl ad, though it still managed to air on a local affiliate in Houston.

The AshleyMadison.com ad can be seen here.
