StealthUSB Launches USB Privacy Device

NEW YORK — A USB device that allows users to watch porn, gamble, video chat, email and instant message without leaving a data trail on computers was announced by StealthUSB LLC today.

The company said users can browse the Internet by using free applications found on the device. The data collected from activities are stored locally on the drive and are “Not available to prying eyes of bosses, spouses, boyfriends or girlfriends."

The drive also limits exposure to viruses and malware, according to StealthUSB.

“What you do when you’re web browsing, emailing or instant messaging is no one else’s business,” said Roger Wilco, CEO of StealthUSB.

He added, “If you want to watch porn or gamble or communicate with your girlfriend or boyfriend, you should have a right to do so privately.”

According to the company, online privacy has become a major concern as more websites place cookies on computers and store user information. In addition to the continued concern over email and instant messaging security, social networking privacy issues are becoming increasingly prevalent.
