Website Debuts to Help Aspiring Porn Stars, Studios

ARDEN, N.C. — Sparked by numerous requests from people seeking to enter the adult industry after an article appeared on its sex toy site, Holistic Wisdom, Inc. announced that it's created a new site to help aspiring porn professionals.

The company said BeInPorn offers those who are serious about getting employment in the adult industry with educational and employment resources and also helps studios screen potential candidates.

Holistic Wisdom, Inc. CEO and founder Lisa Lawless, Ph.D., said that they have been receiving approximately 30,000 unique visitors (male & female) searching on how to become a porn star every month from their original article on HolisticWisdom.com.

“With so many people looking for employment these days, it seems that more and more people are considering a career in the adult industry. We felt that most of the people who were contacting us really needed an educational resource to better understand the realities of such a choice with specific information on who to contact and how to contact them,” said Lawless.

The founder reported that most people that contact them wanting to get into the porn industry are often naive to the reality of what it takes.

However, the company maintains that the new site has already been receiving positive feedback from its users.

Lawless said, “Our goal is to educate those who want employment opportunities in the adult industry so that they may understand everything they are getting themselves into from the potential of such a choice causing family conflicts to exploring how they can protect themselves from STDs, scams and how approach adult studios in an appropriate manner.”

An $18.99 "age verification and access" fee is required to apply for most positions. The company maintained that it has working relationships with most adult studios through its National Association for the Advancement of Science & Art in Sexuality.
