Red Light District Files Suit Against Everhard

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — On Jan. 6, World Wide Red Light District Inc. filed a lawsuit against Mitchell Hartwell, who performs under the name Erik Everhard, and his production company, Erik Everhard Entertainment Inc. in Los Angeles Superior Court, North Valley District, located in Chatsworth.

The complaint asserts claims against Everhard and his company for breach of contract, breach of implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, fraudulent misrepresentation, unjust enrichment, and unfair competition. The complaint seeks compensatory monetary damages and injunctive relief.

World Wide Red Light District Inc. also is seeking punitive damages from Everhard and his company.

“Red Light District intends to vigorously pursue its claims against Everhard, his company and all other responsible parties,” Red Light District said in a statement.

Three days earlier, Everhard had filed suit against Red Light District, alleging many of the same claims. Everhard, who currently is under contract to Evil Angel as a director, had previously worked as a performer and director for Red Light District.
