Delaware to Fight at Vegas Hard Rock Casino in October

LOS ANGELES — Adult performer Dick Delaware, aka Aaron Brink, will fight Vitor Vianna in the main event of MMA Xplosion on Saturday, Oct. 9 at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Delaware on Friday will receive his license to fight in Nevada from the state athletic commission and will be competing for the first time in the 185-pound weight class. The 6-foot-3 native of Huntington Beach, Calif., has spent his entire 12-year, mixed-martial-arts career fighting at 205 pounds (light heavyweight) and above, amassing a 23-18-1 professional record. He last fought on Aug. 20 in the Gladiator Challenge at Soboba Casino, defeating Dan Quinn via a second round TKO.

"My win over Dan Quinn got me the license to fight in Nevada," the 35-year-old Delaware said. "Things are starting to happen again for me. I'm back."

In porn, Delaware has been working regularly for Lethal Hardcore, and The Erotic Network. He has performed in more than 600 scenes since his porn debut in 2002.

His opponent Vianna, a 5-foot-11 Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt from Wanderlei Silva's Wand Fight Team, is 9-1-1 and enters the contest on a two-fight win streak.

Delaware and his wife, adult performer Cassandra Cruz, gained national notoriety in 2009 when they were profiled on an episode of A&E’s “Intervention.” The Emmy-winning TV show follows individuals whose dependence on drugs and alcohol has brought them to a point of personal crisis. The episode involving Delaware chronicled his substance abuse and subsequent intervention in December 2008. Today he is sober.
