ASACP Joins Cars 4 Causes to Benefit Youth

LOS ANGELES — The ASACP Foundation has announced that it can now accept car donations through the Cars 4 Causes program.

Cars 4 Causes originated as a charity to benefit youth education and has developed into a network of charities that allows the donor to choose a charity to direct 70 percent of the net sale amount to. The remainder goes to Cars 4 Causes charity supported programs.

“A number of people asked us if they could donate cars and use it as a charitable tax-deductible gift,” ASACP CEO Joan Irvine said. “After much research, the ASACP Foundation decided that Cars 4 Causes was a good fit since both charities help children. We are honored to have accepted into their program.”

The ASACP Foundation operates the ASACP child pornography reporting hotline and the Restricted to Adults - RTA Website Label. Along with ASACP, the two separate organizations work together in order to do a broad range of work in protecting children online.

“Donations to the Foundation will help us to continue our online child protection efforts, while expanding our online safety educational efforts,” Irvine said. “So I ask that if you have a car you are not using, please donate it to the Cars 4 Causes® for the ASACP Foundation.”

Contributions to the ASACP Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, one can donate here or directly at Cars4Causes.net.
