U.K. Adult Producers Group to Exhibit at Venus Berlin

LONDON – The U.K. Adult Producers (UKAP) trade association announced that it will make a strong presence at this year’s Venus Berlin adult trade show.

The group, which represents 18 U.K producers, said it is pooling its resources to erect a booth in the consumer section of the exhibition hall that will serve as the first opportunity for some companies to exhibit on a global stage.

UKAP organizers said, “All members in attendance have signed on not only to promote their own lines of content but to develop business for all members and bring worldwide awareness to British products as a whole. In essence, the organization will be acting as an ambassador for the U.K. adult industry as well as a distribution coordinator for both producers in attendance and those who aren't able to attend the fair.”

Adult star Tracey Lain and U.K. Performer of the Year, Tanya Cox will be in attendance at the booth signing materials for fans.

“Outside of its activities leading up to Venus, UKAP serves as a means for content producers great and small to face pressing industry concerns as a united front. Such matters include health, legal and ethical issues, education and content piracy to name a few,” the association stated.

The group said the move is in line with its tradition of networking. UKAP holds regular meetings and hosts networking events twice yearly. These events are also open to those outside of the U.K. In June, UKAP's summer party drew visitors from France, Netherlands, Germany, and the U.S.

UKAP also said that it recently released a collaborative effort in the form of a retail DVD called “UK Fuck Files.”
