“We pay the registration fee and provide them with the redirection scripts,” Kuipers told XBiz. “They only have to sign up, post and keep up the good work.”
Kuipers said he originally developed AdultXposure as a free hosting service for adult sites, but realized there were already too many partner programs launching their own free hosting services.
Blogging, however, offered a different opportunity, Kuipers said.
“My partner and I wanted to create an adult resource site,” Kuipers said. “After some investigation and testing it came out that free hosting had no future, but blogging was rather popular, so we launched a beta version in September.”
Fueled only by word of mouth,. Kuipers said the site grew almost immediately to 100 members during the beta phase. The site’s revenue model is based on banners, advertising and redirecting 404 traffic to partner programs, and includes a newsletter service and a host of referral and content share opportunities.
“We have 57 active members now,” Kuipers said. “But as we grow the service will always be free, now and in the future. We will never turn our blogging service into a paid version or charge extra fees for more space.”
Kuipers said future plans for AdultXposure include a loyalty program where members earn points for referrals, posts and visitors. These points will convert to a cash system in the site’s forthcoming “blogpointsz shop,” where members will be able to purchase everything from gallery sets to iPods.
“Most of the products in our shop will be tailored to our users,” Kuipers said. “Such as free samples of live feeds, free content sets, etc. We are in discussion with several parties in the market so we can do a cross-marketing strategy as well.”
AdultXposure is owned by Kyzoe Media Group, which will officially launch an Internet service for adult webmasters in February. The Internet arm of the company will include hosting, design, scripting, content management and server hosting, Kuipers said.
