They've been found to be among the most frequent viewers of online adult content, according to a new study.
A report by sexologist Prof. Zbigniew Izdebski, surveying 10,000 Polish Internet users, reveals that 86 percent of them actively seek out porn.
That number is up from 50 percent in 1994, according to Izdebski's study.
Izdebski noted that Poles' interest in pornography results from their lack of sex education.
"Besides, they still think it is a forbidden fruit which tastes better," he said.
Izdebski's research mirrors a recent study by Alexa, which showed that Polish Internet users are the fifth largest audience of RedTube.
As many as 4.3 percent of RedTube’s users are Poles, following Americans (21.3 percent), Brazilians (7 percent), the British (4.8 percent) and Italians (4.6 percent).
