SugarDVD Expands With New Shipping Center

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — DVD rental site SugarDVD.com will open a new regional shipping center in Dallas, Texas. The new facility, which the company says is necessary to accommodate demand for its adult movie products, will become operational on Feb.1.

SugarDVD CEO Jax said that the addition of the new shipping center will help the company get adult DVDs into the hands of consumers as quickly as possible, something Jax said the company prides itself on.

“The creation of the Dallas center is a direct response to help meet the growing needs of our many customers,” Jax said.

SugarDVD operates much like mainstream DVD rental services such as Netflix and Blockbuster Online, offering unlimited rentals for a set monthly fee, 24-hour customer service and postage-paid return envelopes.

With the opening of the Dallas building, SugarDVD will have three strategically based shipping centers in the U.S., effectively dividing the country into three equal territories.

The Dallas shipping center will join SugarDVD’s existing facilities in New York and Chatsworth, Calif.

In addition to its U.S. shipping operations, SugarDVD also has a European shipping center based in Amsterdam.
