NakedSword Adds Zach Sire as Editor of 'The Sword'

SAN FRANCISCO — Leading gay adult membership site NakedSword announced the addition of Zach Sire.

Sire comes on as the editor of the site’s blog — The Sword — and will serve as editor-in-chief and manager of all social media platforms as well as assisting in production of original video content.

The company said Sire was recently the online editor for Unzipped.net where he helped increase traffic and brought mainstream attention to the site by breaking stories on national public figures including his coverage of the George Rekers/Rentboy scandal last May.

Before that, Sire served as Associate Editor of Unzipped, Men and Freshmen magazines where he forged relationships with industry stars and peers.

“Sire’s perhaps best known for his acerbic wit, unique blogging style, and sharp eye for relevant editorial content that drives traffic while entertaining smart, loyal readers on a daily basis," the company said.

“It’s clear The Sword has established itself as a must read for both industry and consumers fascinated with the wonderful world of gay porn and all its lovable characters. Now with Zach in charge, the ride only gets that much better!,” NakedSword CEO Tim Valenti said.

Under Sire’s direction The Sword will continue to cover industry news while reporting on select stories affecting the gay community and popular culture at large. Readers can also expect more hardcore stories and design updates.

Sire can be reached at Zach@TheSword.com.
