XBIZ's Alec Helmy to Speak at The Phoenix Forum

PHOENIX — Alec Helmy, president of XBIZ and founder of ASACP, will be a featured interview at The Phoenix Forum on Friday.

Friday's 11 a.m. interview with Helmy is part of The Phoenix Forum's "Visionary" track that takes a comprehensive look at visionary business leaders.

Helmy, who entered the adult entertainment industry at Internet's infancy with a number of online ventures, focuses his energies on XBIZ's dynamic suite of cross-platform media products — XBIZ.com, XFANZ.com, XBIZ World and XBIZ Premiere, among others — and four annual events, XBIZ Summer Forum, XFANZ Summer Expo, XBIZ LA Conference and the XBIZ Awards.

He will be queried by "guest interviewer" and online adult veteran Johnny V.

"I’m flattered to be chosen to speak as one of the visionary leaders of the industry," Helmy said. "Through the years, we have seen the online adult industry rise like a phoenix to where it is today, and my mission has been for XBIZ is to provide the information the industry needs to stay dynamic, indispensable and profitable."

The second Visionary track interview at 1:30 p.m. on Friday features questions and answers posed to Steven Scarborough, Hot House Entertainment's president. The guest interviewer for that presentation will be Tim Valenti, co-founder and CEO of Naked Sword.

To be conducted in an "actor's studio"-style presentation in the Palm F room, each of the interviews is expected to last an hour.
