Dickmans Design Expands Services, Goes Mobile

SAO PAULO, Brazil — Dickmans Design has expanded its service offerings with the launch of its new mobile website m.DickmansDesign.com.

The version is made for portable devices and signals a new array of services from mobile tour designs to development of custom applications for the iPhone.

“The mobile revolution challenges us to think of different ways for improving user experience to convert and reach the goals of each project we work on,” creative director Eddie Dickman said. “Being able to adapt to these new interfaces successfully will be vital for everyone looking for new ways to impact, keep in touch and monetize mobile surfers.”

The company says it will stay competitive in terms of pricing and turnaround time.

“We can charge less for the design of mobile sites than we charge for websites because they depend more on good ideas for navigation and persuasion architecture than on flash eye candy and graphical effects,” said Johnny Dickman, director of business development.

“We’re confident that lower costs needed to invest in design plus faster turnaround time will be a key combination to stimulate new and established players willing to explore this huge potential market.”

Additionally, Dickmans will continue to move towards software development and implementation.

“Our development department has been busier than ever!” director of operations Thiago Dickman said. “It’s been growing fast, not only in number of people but also in know-how. Technology is an important part of our long-term strategy for growth and exploring the mobile market is a major step towards that goal."

“It's the gold rush happening all over again,” CEO Bruno Dickman said. “We are excited to help our clients explore new revenue channels and make bank. As with everything, the mobile pie is going to be shared on a first come, first serve basis, so jump in everyone!”
