OC3Networks Taps ParaScale Software for Cloud Storage

CUPERTINO, Calif. — Web hosting company OC3Networks.com has selected startup company ParaScale Software as its cloud storage solution.

Cloud computing refers to any online tech solution that involves multiple computers and servers working in concert to provide users with easy access to multiple services. Many of Google's online applications, such as Gmail, employ cloud computing principals.

OC3Networks CEO Ilan Mishan said that in the case of ParaScale's case, his company chose to go with them because they provided a comprehensive storage repository that fit into their current setup.

"For every server deployment moving forward, OC3 customers will have direct access over our innovative Private Network to 5GB of free storage to use as they choose," he said. "Growth past the complimentary storage will be provided seamlessly as the customers’ needs grow. ParaScale’s platform allows us to interoperate with customers’ existing applications with zero change and will provide our customers a fully managed storage solution that will allow them to manage data growth efficiently, securely and affordably.”

ParaScale CEO Sajai Krishnan said that he hopes his company can attract new clients by offering easy-to-integrate cloud computing solutions. He promised that potential ParaScale customers need not buy all new hardware — many current servers will work just fine wth ParaScale software.

“Customers are going to have several choices and service providers have to ask themselves how they can differentiate and thrive against the at-scale mass-market players like Amazon and Google," he said. "The highly capable technical and sales teams at OC3 are looking at cloud storage offerings that can help their existing and new customers delay expensive storage caps."
