Lavender Lounge Revamps Flagship Site

LOS ANGELES — Gay adult company Lavender Lounge Studios has unveiled a revamp of its flagship website, LavenderLounge.com.

Owner Mark Kliem said that he wanted to break up his main website into a series of more niche-specific sites in response to industry trends.

"LavenderLounge.com will be primarily a showcase for my own original photography," he said. "I've gotten the most notoriety for shooting candid photos at street fairs, clubs and porn star events, so that will be the focus of this site. The new site will also feature hardcore scenes I've shot with models, and with new technology available, I'll finally have a workable video solution for my members."

Kliem said that this new video solution should impress his subscribers almost as much as a new photo gallery he's installed on his new site.

"My favorite feature is the photo slide shows. When a member clicks on a thumbnail, the picture opens into a lightbox that hovers over the browser and a slide show begins," he said. "Users will have full control to either go from thumbnail to thumbnail or sit back and watch the show. Photos automatically adjust to any screen size and each picture dissolves elegantly to the next. It's gorgeous."

As for his content, Kliem said that he's broken it up into several categories, including his coverage of street fairs, photographs of bar action, adult star parties, and an array of hardcore content that includes solo and hardcore anal action. Kliem's vintage content will remain unaffected.
