Flynt Brothers Launch FlyntNation.com

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — The Flynt brothers, Jimmy II and Dustin, have launched their website and blog, FlyntNation.com.

The site launch comes in the wake of significant legal action against the Flynt brothers, who are the sons of Jimmy Flynt Sr., the brother of Hustler mogul Larry Flynt.

The two younger Flynts worked at Larry Flynt Publications for a combined 25 years before striking out on their own. Their legal troubles started with the proposed name for their new company, Flynt Media Corp. Larry Flynt sued, claiming the name was too similar to his company name, Larry Flynt Publications.

Jimmy II and Dustin launched the site while following guidelines set out by the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. The new site includes prominent disclaimers that it is not affiliated with Larry Flynt on both its warning page and its home page.

“As the internet continues to evolve, we feel our business model will satisfy the global audience demand for cutting edge interactivity and community driven content,” Flynt Media CEO Jimmy Flynt II said.

As for the site itself, it includes a blog, video interviews, an online store and a message board.

“For the first time, I have the autonomy to pursue the kind of aggressive and bold ideas that I feel will position FlyntNation.com as an industry innovator in erotic entertainment,” Flynt Media COO Dustin Flynt said.
