Danni Mobile Launches

DENVER — Wireless adult content provider Brickhouse Mobile announced today a partnership with online adult mogul Danni Ashe to launch Danni Mobile, bringing Ashe’s popular softcore content to WAP-enabled mobile phones.

The new Danni Mobile service will include wireless video content, mobile virtual lap dances, model interviews and chats, Ashe’s nude joke of the day service and outtakes, according to Brickhouse President L. Clinton Fayling.

“Since 1995, [Ashe’s signature site] Danni’s Hard Drive has achieved great success on the Internet and in retail outlets by featuring the most beautiful women in the world via a vast collection of custom programming,” said Fayling. “We look forward to bringing the same high quality experience to the mobile phone, with new innovative products designed for an even more personal experience.”

Fayling said the new mobile service would also offer custom ringtones, wallpapers and product auctions, as well as contests and promotions. The service is expected to launch Jan. 1 through authorized carriers both in the U.S. as well as select international markets.

“By aligning with an innovative, creative and experienced company such as Brickhouse Mobile to guide us we are positioning the Danni Mobile brand as the most reliable, consistent, successful and safe source of erotic content for carriers, customers and everyone in-between,” said Michael A. Weiss, vice president in charge of licensing and distribution for Danni’s Hard Drive.

As with previous partnerships, Brickhouse will be in charge of ensuring Danni Mobile content complies with current U.S. and international standards, including filters to help prevent children from accessing the material.

Earlier this month, anticipating an explosion of wireless adult content, the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) released a content ratings system in an effort to head off any government attempts to step in with its own restrictions.
