SexToy Dave Featured in Wall Street Journal

LOS ANGELES — SexToy.com and CNV.com owner Dave Levine, aka SexToy Dave is featured in an article in the Wall Street Journal discussing his use of dating reality shows as marketing tools and his latest reality show co-star Ryan Jenkins.

Levine, who initially appeared on “The Millionaire Matchmaker,” calls his appearances on dating competitions “a unique marketing strategy.”

Levine’s most recent reality gig, VH-1’s “Megan Wants a Millionaire” was cut short after fellow contestant Jenkins became a prime suspect in the murder of his ex-wife Jasmine Fiore. Days after the crime, Jenkins went missing and was later found dead in a motel room in British Columbia.

Levine describes Jenkins as a “friend” among many. “When I walk out to a bar I know everybody and everybody is my best friend.” He adds that the experience of “living in a house with someone who probably a murderer” has made him more selective of the shows he considers.
