Free Speech Coalition Holds Fundraiser Party

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Adult industry trade group Free Speech Coalition held a "Sex, Drinks & Rock'n'Roll Freedomfest" at the legendary rock venue Whisky a Go-Go Wednesday night.

"This has been a great event," FSC Executive Director Diane Duke told XBIZ. "It was wonderful to have Hustler Hollywood throw this event for us for us. The Whisky donated the space, and we had our incredible sponsors to support us. It's been an excellent evening for the Free Speech Coalition. We're very excited about tonight."

Inside, the Whisky's three bars were hopping as guest DJ performer Jack Napier spun and hosts Tony Batman and Ambre Lake introduced video clips presented by performers from sponsoring production companies, performer Sunny Lane modeled lingerie, raffle prizes were awarded and fake-orgasm-sounds and simulated-blowjob-on-phallic-lollipop contests were held. Adam & Eve contract performer Kayden Kross aced the competition by having a male friend hold the lollipop as she knelt down to suck it.

During one presentation, Evil Angel executive Karen Stagliano told the crowd that her husband, Evil Angel owner John Stagliano, has to check in with his parole officer weekly because he is under indictment for obscenity.

As "cigarette girls" handed out products from Screaming O on the main floor, upstairs tables offered product demonstrations from Topco Sales, Adventure Industries and Sportsheets.

The crowd was made up of a combination of adult industry professionals and fans.

"It's a nice mix of industry and civilians ‹ especially manufacturers," Pipedream Products Sales Manager Kim Airs said.

Adult performers in attendance included Sasha Grey, Nina Hartley, Angelina Armani, Evan Stone, Mark Davis, Joanna Angel, Tommy Gunn, Nicki Hunter, Kira King, Lori Lust, Vanessa Blue, Misti Dawn, James Deen, Claudia Valentine, Mr. Marcus, Chayse Evans, Bobbi Star, Laurie Vargas, Cleopatra of the Nile and Wicked Pictures contract performers Alektra Blue, Jessica Drake, Kirsten Price and Monica Mendez.

Other adult industry personalities included FSC Membership Director Joanne Cachapero, attorneys Jeffrey Douglas and Michael Fattorosi, producer Frank K, directors Roy Karch and Jennifer James, Wicked Pictures publicists Daniel Metcalf and Heth Mares, Rocks-Off U.S. Sales Director Leslie Shwartzer, ASACP CEO Joan Irvine, Trigg Labs Vice President of Marketing Jennifer Martsolf, LittleMutt.com Vice President of Marketing Jo Mason, publicist James Bartholet and LFP Hustler Vice President of Operations Theresa Flynt.

Sponsors for the event included Hustler, Wicked Pictures, Adam & Eve, Evil Angel, Topco Sales, Adventure Industries, XGen Products, Sportsheets and Screaming O.
