Porncaster Debuts Adult Video Podcasting

AUSTIN, Texas — Porncaster.net is hoping to capitalize on the iPod podcasting revolution by offering frequently-updated content channels from several different porn sites that are tailored specifically for iPod video players.

And right now the channels are entirely free, with a subscription service in development for launch within the next few months.

“We are concentrating on proving our model and improving the service,” said Porncaster President John Gibson. “As soon as we are comfortable that we have everything tuned, we will begin offering premium licensed content for all tastes.”

The obvious potential of a video-enabled iPod player within the adult industry has exploded across mainstream and trade press alike since Apple first announced its development, with several adult companies launching major initiatives to tailor adult videos for optimal viewing on Apple’s new Video iPod by converting them to the H.264 format.

Porncaster’s efforts are no different, and Gibson said the technology would also be highly adept at customizing content for user’s individual tastes, letting user’s tap into specific video feeds on a regular basis.

“One of the beauties of podcasting is that you can deliver content customized down to the level of individual users,” Gibson said. “You can also insert interesting new features [into the podcasts] that customer may not even be aware of.”

In other words, traditional advertising programs can be drastically simplified via porn podcasts, according to Gibson, enabling advertisers to insert promotional material tailored specifically to a host of individualize channels.

“Podcasting is poised to upset the traditional arrangement of advertising programs and complex and expensive networks of affiliations that separate producer and consumer,” said Gibson. “By delivering content immediately and directly, we [can] lower business costs, provide greater convenience to customers and dedicated distribution channels to producers.”

Currently, 25 free video podcasts are available on Porncaster.net, including content from CumFiesta, Mike’s Apartment and Big Naturals.
