Sexpo has held exhibitions in Brisbane and Perth this year — reporting record crowds and record retail sales — and is planning a Melbourne show in late November, in the middle of Australia's summer.
Although exhibitor space is sold out, fan tickets are available for Sydney Sexpo. The lineup of attractions includes a New Entertainment Area with bands, DJs and stage acts; the Laporium lap dancing arena; and the launch of the Sexpo Erotic Short Film Festival. Fan tickets and some exhibitor space also are available for Melbourne Sexpo, Nov. 26-29, which will feature the Sexpo Bubble, called "a sexy version of Big Brother"; and an Extreme Sports Area with competition for prizes. Adult performers appearing at the Sydney and Melbourne shows will be announced in August.
Since its beginning in 2001, Sexpo has held exhibitions in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth on an irregular annual schedule.
