FSC to Present Leadership Award to Kink.com

CANOGA PARK, Calif. — The Free Speech Coalition announced today that online content producer Kink.com would receive the FSC Leadership Award at the XBIZ Awards on Thursday.

“We wanted to recognize Kink.com not only as a pioneer in the online arena but also for its commitment to the community and better business standards that are outlined in the company’s mission statement,” FSC Executive Director Diane Duke said. “The company’s efforts to encourage community outreach, as well as a positive attitude toward alternative sexuality and adult entertainment, are commendable.”

Peter Acworth, Kink.com founder and CEO, added that, “The Free Speech Coalition has done monumental work protecting free expression over the years, so to be recognized with the FSC Leadership Award is a huge honor. I would like to thank the Free Speech Coalition for its profound work over the years and for recognizing us with this award.”

The FSC Leadership Award, given “in recognition of innovative business practices and excellence in the adult entertainment industry,” according to the FSC, will be presented during the XBIZ Awards show in Hollywood, Calif.
