This year, the top-nominated release was Digital Playground’s "Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge," with nine nominations including Best Overall DVD, Best Feature DVD, Best Blu-ray, and the Viewer’s Choice Award. "Fallen," from Wicked Pictures, was the second-most nominated release with seven, including Best Overall DVD, Best Feature DVD and Best DVD Extras.
Other titles with multiple nominations include Vivid’s "Cry Wolf," Elegant Angel’s "Alexis Texas is Buttwoman," Zero Tolerance’s "Interactive Sex With Bree Olson," Vouyer Media’s "The Gauntlet 3," Hustler Video’s "Who’s Nailin’ Paylin?" and Sex Z Pictures’ "Icon."
Winners of the Empire Awards are determined by votes cast by Adult DVD Empire’s editorial staff and in-house reviewers, along with other notable adult reviewers and select industry professionals. The Viewer’s Choice Award can be voted on by members of the public through the official Empire Awards website, where a complete list of all the nominees can be found, as well as nominees and winners from previous years.
Winners of this year's awards will be announced on Feb. 20.
