MayorsMoney Offers High-Definition Affiliate

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Affiliate program MayorsMoney.com, on hiatus since the late 1990’s, announced its return today with a series of programs that offer high-definition (hi-def) video downloads.

The first hi-def sites offered though the new program are BrookeSyke.com, Snatches.com and TheXXXPrize.com, which will offer a prize of $20,000 to the top amateur video submitted. The company expects to release one new site every two months.

MayorsMoney, developed by the same people behind Stiffycash, Porn DVD Dollars, and Porncity, offers weekly payouts of up to $40 per sign up for active members or 60 percent recurring revenue split for the life of a contract. All videos on the site, according to company representatives, are Windows Media Video files at 480p and 720p, which exceeds traditional DVD quality.

"I believe [MayorsMoney] will be the most successful program we have offered to our affiliates yet, from our exclusive hi-def content to our detailed real-time stats,” owner Mike Strouse said.

Strouse said the program also will offer many useful marketing tools, including exclusive hi-def promo content, hosted movie/picture galleries and assistance with targeted mailings. The company also has developed multiple options for how affiliates can disseminate their content, a large selection of banners and advertising choices and revshare for designers who prefer to build their own tours.

Of course, the intended joys to be had from the site’s hi-def offerings will be limited to customers with access to a hi-def display. Surprisingly, although sales of hi-def sets have increased dramatically in the last three years, appearing in an estimated 10 percent of homes throughout the United States, only about a third of owners have actually watched hi-def content, according to research firm Jupitermedia.

The firm estimates mainstreaming of the technology won’t occur until prices drop below $500. Currently, typical prices for such sets range from $1,500 to $22,000.
