Liberator Opens Retail Store in Singapore

SINGAPORE — Liberator Bedroom Adventure Gear has opened a branded store in Singapore, its first new retail location outside of the original shop in Atlanta.

The ‘Love Store’ is in District 9, one of the most elite shopping destinations in the South Asian country, the company announced.

“We are very excited to present our 100 percent authentic and USA-made products to Singapore and Asia,” said Joshua Maurice, Liberator’s vice president. “For the first time, customers in Asia will be able to experience Liberator Bedroom Adventure Gear shapes and other products first-hand, where they can browse and touch the products before purchasing.”

The 1,000-square-foot, Renaissance-style shop contains Louis XVI furniture and hand-painted Venetian masks from Italy. It’s divided into the Dungeon, the Chamber and the Drawing Room.

The latter is the main room of the store and features Liberator’s sex furniture, erotic books, lubricants and other accessories, while the Dungeon features the light bondage Black Label products. The Chamber is set up as a bedroom displaying Liberator shapes on and around a four-poster bed, a mirrored closet containing personal adult toys and an audio-visual sound system playing erotic music and video.

Liberator’s Singapore announcement comes on the heels of the company’s signing exclusive licensing partnerships in the U.K., the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. The company has also entered deals in South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

In the next three months, Liberator announced it plans to expand its international presence to include France, Italy, Greece and Turkey.

The company is actively seeking new international partnerships and is asking inquiries to be made to Joshua Maurice at joshua@liberator.com.
