The Leisure Time catalog is mailed out to millions of adult buyers every month. Maximum Exposure Vice President Eric Mann said having a bestseller in a high-profile catalog like Leisure Time is usually a good indication that a movie will do equally well on the web, in retail stores and other distribution channels.
"We suggest [anyone selling adult videos] order deep on “Girlfriends” and Sandee's upcoming titles, as the demand is high for this new star," Mann said. "Sandee has star power that sells units. On top of that, this release is one of the sexiest DVDs to come around in along time."
Westgate is Maximum Xposure’s first contract performer. She signed a four-picture deal with the studio earlier this year. Her next title, "Carnal Desires,” is due in October.
Westgate previously garnered a fan base as a glamour and pin-up model over the past five years. She started her career appearing in fitness, car and lingerie publications before being discovered by Playboy in early 2000, then went on to pose for other adult magazines such as Hustler, Club and Cheri.
“Girlfriends” marks Westgate’s first foray into the hardcore DVD market, helping her land the distinction of being a “Playboy model gone bad,” following in the footsteps of Playmate Teri Weigel, who became a megastar in the early 1990s. The all-girl feature co-stars Justine Joli, Arianna Sage and Tall Goddess.
