MalePerfection.net Gets ‘Beautiful’

LOS ANGELES — All-male softcore site MalePerfection.net has teamed with BeautifulMag.eu to launch its forthcoming “Sex” edition. The issue will be available online October 19-31. A YouTube trailer has also gone live teasing the contents.

The issue will feature artists include Kent Taylor, a photographer and principal in Raging Stallion Studios, as well as performer-director Michael Lucas.

They will join artists German Armenta, Thomas Synnamon and Rodney Washington, among others.

The collaboration came about when a MalePerfection talent recruiter sent BeautifulMag a friend request on one of the social networking sites.

“One of their co-owners sent a thank-you and said he was interested in giving us some attention in their ‘Sex’ edition,” MalePerfection owner Drake Rock told XBIZ.

“During our conversations,” Drake added, “we realized that we have common philosophies about our sites — we concentrate on artistic ‘tease’ rather than outright porn, and yet we both like to push the envelope on occasion.”

He opened up his site and the BeautifulMag editors “grabbed whatever they felt was best suited for their ‘Sex’ issue. What appears in the issue is solely up to them; it is their magazine.”

BeautifulMag is “a web magazine oriented towards a gay male audience that showcases photographers, models and other talented individuals,” the company said.

MalePerfection was originally a promotional site for a photobook. It was bought and revamped in May 2007, billing itself as “adult entertainment for the music video generation featuring nude celebrities, hot hunks, naked college jocks, frat men, male fitness models, competitive bodybuilders” and more showcased in “sensual nude music videos underscored with hot club remixes.”
